The HondaCare Protection Plan is an extension of the coverage provided under Honda's Limited Manufacturer's Warranty, including costs for parts and labor. A HondaCare Plan is available for Honda Motorcycles, Scooters, SxSs and ATVs that come with and are still under a factory warranty. The plan keeps you covered should an unexpected mechanical breakdown occur with your vehicle.
  • Nationwide Coverage - Coverage accepted at any authorized Honda Powersport Dealer within the United States.
  • Unlimited Usage - Coverage doesn't expire at a pre-set mileage or hour limit.
  • No Deductible - No out-of-pocket costs for repairs covered under HondaCare.
  • It's Transferable - HondaCare is transferable to a subsequent owner at no cost.
  • Repairs You Can Trust - Repairs done by Honda trained technicians using new Genuine Honda parts.

HondaCare coverage mirrors the features and benefits as your original Honda Limited Manufacturer's Warranty.

Covered repairs include:
  • Engine: Transmission, Balancer Shaft, Cylinder Heads, Pistons, Camshafts, Cylinder and Crankshafts.
  • Drive System: Differential, Drive Shaft, Axles and CV Joints.
  • Fuel System: Carburetors, Intake Manifolds, Fuel Tanks, Fuel Petcock, Fuel Injectors, Fuel Pump, and Control Module.
  • Cooling System: Radiator, Water Pump, Thermostat, Cooling Fans and Oil Cooler.
  • Brakes: Master Cylinder, Wheel Cylinder, Drums/ Rotors, Calipers, Reservoirs and Anti-Lock Control Module.
  • Electrical: Alternator, Regulator/Rectifier, Engine Control Module, Electrical Shift System, and Ignition Coils.
  • Chassis: Frame, Shocks, Swingarm, and Steering Control Rods.

Excludes:
Tires, Batteries, Audio & Navigation Equipment and Accessories, and Regular, Required and Expendable Maintenance using only new Genuine Honda Parts.

You can purchase the HondaCare Protection Plan any time within the Limited Manufacturer's Warranty period. Depending on the vehicle type or model, this may be 36, 12 or 6 months from your purchase date.
The HondaCare® Protection Plan is certified and backed by Honda. Repairs will be performed by Honda authorized dealers located throughout the country, for the term of the HondaCare Protection Plan.
Honda offers flexible term coverage up to 5 years of coverage depending on the model you own. The HondaCare Protection Plan term begins upon expiration of your original Limited Manufacturer's Warranty.
In Florida, the HondaCare Protection Plan term is inclusive of your manufacturer's warranty, so term coverage begins upon your vehicle purchase date. Please call (877) 468-1114 for more information.

There is no deductible required to obtain service for your vehicle.
Please review the Terms and Conditions and consult your Owner's Manual regarding your maintenance responsibilities.
You may cancel your HondaCare Protection Plan at any time for any reason. Proof of vehicle ownership or lienholder information is required when applying for cancellation. If you cancel within 60 days and have no claims, you will get a full refund of the purchase price; if you cancel after sixty (60) days you will receive a pro-rata refund based on the term remaining, less any claims paid. A processing fee applies in either case where permitted by state law.

All repairs must be performed by an authorized Honda Powersport dealership.

If repairs are necessary, you should contact a dealer who is authorized to service your type of Honda, whether it's a Motorcycle, ATV, SxS or Scooter, during their normal service department business hours and arrange, at your expense, to take your vehicle and its maintenance documents to the dealership.

If it is necessary for you to obtain emergency repairs after normal business hours, or by anyone other than an authorized Honda dealer, you must call HondaCare (800) 555-3496 for prior authorization for repairs and instructions for obtaining reimbursement, before incurring any repair costs. HondaCare's office is open weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Pacific Time, excluding holidays.

FlexPay is a partial payment option available for debit or credit card purchases. A partial payment plan is defined as a plan that is not paid in full at the time of the initial purchase. There is a one-time $4 administrative fee added to the contract purchase price. The selection of FlexPay as a payment option must be made at the time of purchase. FlexPay payments must be received by the scheduled date or your HondaCare® Protection Plan will be suspended until payment is received. The payment schedule will be provided to you at the time of the initial purchase. You are responsible for ensuring that your method of payment (credit or debit card) is valid for each scheduled payment.

Should you fail to resolve a payment issue, your contract will be cancelled, and we will issue you a refund of the amount you have already paid.

Should you have a claim to file before your FlexPay payments have been complete, you will be required to pay any remaining balance due before we can honor your claim.

Following your purchase, you will receive a contract in the mail from Honda including your coverage dates and the detailed Terms & Conditions.
Yes, your plan is transferrable to a subsequent owner at your request. The right to transfer is limited to the original purchaser of the plan.
The HondaCare® Protection Plan Terms and Conditions will be sent to you at the address you provide when purchasing the Plan. If you purchase a Plan via this website, a purchase confirmation will also be emailed to you at the email address you provide during the checkout process and will include a link to the Terms and Conditions found on this website.

Roadside Assistance can be purchased as an option along with HondaCare® Protection Plan for on-road vehicles. Services are provided by Brickell Financial Services Motor Club, Inc. dba Road America Motor Club ("Road America"). Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, wherever you travel in the United States, Mexico, or Canada.
